Hematopoietic stimulants in the treatment and prevention of graft-versus-host disease

چکیده
Conditioning regimens prior to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) are often accompanied by a period of aplasia characterized severe neutropenia, anemia, and thrombocytopenia. Long-term antibacterial immunosuppressive therapy in patients with graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) exacerbates depression. Colony-stimulating factors, erythropoietins, thrombopoietin receptor agonists used correct hematological dysfunction these patients. However, drugs have side effects, their stimulating effect, as rule, is limited one the lineages. At same time, after HSCT, for prevention treatment disorders against background GVHD, it necessary use that promote restoration all lines. Inducers Toll- NOD-like receptors, stimulators emergency hematopoiesis, can be considered promising this category These compounds include bacterial derivatives sulfated poly(oligo)saccharides capable which allows us consider them stimulants hematopoiesis immune status GVHD.

Relationship between Molecular Chimerism and Graft Versus Host Disease after Allogenic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation
Background: Bone marrow transplantation (BMT) is considered as a curative therapy for a broad range of diseases. However, complications such as relapse and graft versus host disease (GVHD) may be observed following BMT. Chimerism analysis serves as a reliable indicator of transplant outcome. Complete chimerism refers to the complete replacement of hematopoietic system by donor cells, while mixe...
متن کاملAssessment of Cyclosporine Serum Concentrations on the Incidence of Acute Graft versus Host Disease Post Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation
Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is a curative treatment option for hematological disorders. Cyclosporine (CsA) is one of the major immunosuppressive agents for the prophylaxis against graft versus host disease (GvHD). In this retrospective study, we evaluated the effects of CsA serum levels on the incidence of acute GvHD and transplant outcomes. 103 adult patients rece...

Background: Allogenic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is a strategy used for treatment of different malignant diseases. However, success of allo-HSCT can be hampered by graft-versus-host-disease (GVHD). Natural killer (NK) cells may play an important role in activating antigen presenting cells and subsequent activation of T cells. The main purpose of this study was the evaluation...
متن کاملClinical Application of Mesenchymal Stem Cells in the Treatment and Prevention of Graft-versus-Host Disease
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) represent a heterogeneous population of stromal cells with pluripotent mesenchymal differentiation potential. They have been found to have immunosuppressive properties and the ability to modulate angiogenesis and endogenous tissue repair by in vitro and animal studies. Clinical trials have examined the utility of these cells in autoimmune and inflammatory condition...
